This Privacy Policy describes how the InPeer platform (published by Prometheus Corp, accessible at https://project.prometheus-corp.ch) collects, uses, protects, and processes users' personal data, in strict accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP / LPD).

1. Fundamental Principles & Digital Sovereignty

InPeer is built on the principle of Privacy by Design & by Default. Our economic model is based entirely on providing secure, sovereign collaboration tools:

Zero Ads & Zero Profiling: We display no advertising, track no user behavior across the web, and never sell personal data to third parties.
Strong End-to-End & At-Rest Encryption: Passwords, messages, and third-party access tokens are encrypted using battle-tested, state-of-the-art cryptographic standards (Sodium, TLS 1.3).
Zero Third-Party Trackers: No external marketing pixels, analytics scrapers, or third-party behavioral trackers are embedded in InPeer.

2. Data Collected

We restrict data collection strictly to what is necessary for service operation:

User Account: Username/pseudonym, login email address, irreversible salt-hashed password, avatar, and UI preferences.
Messaging Data (Integrated Email Client): When connecting an email account (Google OAuth 2.0, Microsoft OAuth 2.0, or standard IMAP/SMTP), we store encrypted authentication tokens and server settings to enable fetching and sending emails from your InPeer interface.
Collaborative Content: Messages sent in channels, calendar events, kanban task cards, and documents created in your sovereign workspaces.

🔒 Google API Services User Data Policy Compliance (Limited Use Requirements)

InPeer's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will strictly adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements:

Exclusive Purpose: Data obtained from Google (including emails, message metadata, and address books) is used solely and strictly to provide the email client functionality inside your InPeer interface (reading, composing, sending, and organizing emails).
No Transfer or Sale: We do not transfer or sell any Google user data to third parties, except as required by applicable law or essential maintenance to operate the service.
No Advertising: Google data is never used to display advertisements, target users, or build marketing profiles.
No AI Model Training: Google email data is never used to train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
No Human Access: No Prometheus Corp employee or human operator has access to read your Google emails, unless explicitly requested and approved by you for technical support or imperative security investigations.

3. Data Security & Storage

All sensitive data (including Google and Microsoft refresh_token and access_token credentials) are stored encrypted in protected databases. Communications between your browser, our infrastructure, and third-party servers operate exclusively via secure HTTPS / TLS channels.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is retained as long as your user account remains active. You maintain total sovereignty over your data at all times:

Disconnecting Email Accounts: Clicking « Delete Account » in InPeer email settings immediately and permanently purges all access tokens, encrypted credentials, and associated local caches from our servers.
Google OAuth Revocation: You can revoke InPeer's permissions at any time directly through your Google Account Security page.
InPeer Account Deletion: You may request permanent deletion of your account and all associated workspace data by contacting administration.

5. Your Rights (GDPR & Swiss FADP)

Under applicable privacy laws, you hold the following rights:

Right of access and information.
Right to rectification of inaccurate data.
Right to erasure (« right to be forgotten »).
Right to restriction of processing and data portability.
